Welcome Dr. Jones
We would like to welcome our new principal, Dr. Amy Jones, to Washington.
Dr. Jones is a Cleveland County Native and a product of Cleveland County Schools. She received a Bachelor's in Secondary English Education from UNC-Chapel Hill, a Master's in School Admin from GWU, and her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from WCU.
She has taught at Shelby High School, Crest High School, and Crest Middle. Although she has served as an Assistant Principal and Principal at the secondary level, she truly enjoys working with younger students at the elementary level.
We can't wait for the new school year!
